The celebrations have begun at Walmart.com with the release of Hoth Ice Planet Advanture Game - the first product to mark the 40th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back's premiere in 1980. Based on the classic Kenner game of the same title, this update 21st century version includes an exclusive, never-released-before Luke Skywalker (Snowspeeder) for $29.99 (RRP). Walmart currently has it marked down to $19.82 (shouldn't that have been $19.80 though?) and in stock, with deliveries scheduled for May 3rd. The most current issue of the droid-tastic LEGO Star Wars magazine is in UK shops now for £3.99, complete with a foil-bagged R2-D2 minifig and a buildable mouse droid. There are loads to keep youngsters occupied: two action-packed comics, colouring-in, awesome puzzles and two amazing games! They’ll also find two slick, galactic posters for their bedroom, loads of facts on R2-D2 and much more. The saga continues on April 22nd when the next issue will be released.
