Large case custom made to fit the Master Replicas Clone Trooper Helmet

The acrylic is 3/16", the base is painted and finished a la Master Replicas cases, but with a round mirror inset.

The bases are very difficult to replicate, though I believe I've managed to get them to about 98-99% of the same finish as MR cases. I don't think anybody will be disappointed.

Each case will be shipped in an expensive custom designed floating packaging to assure damage free transit. The boxes are huge.

Dimensions
13" w x 15" d x 1" h base. The base has a set of black feet that are 1/8" high. On top of the base sits a 3/16" nominal (.177 actual) clear acrylic top. It is 13" w x 15" d x 18" h, and overlaps the base by 3/16". That makes the inside of the top 12.646" w x 14.646" d x 17.636" h. This is for the case only, the helmet is not included.

It is laser cut with three layers of mat board and two outside layers of clear acrylic, all held together with included special corner screws. As the medallions vary in diameter slightly, the holes are slightly larger than the anticipated largest medallion you are likely to have. *Medallions shown for reference only and are not included.

In what seems to be my never-ending attempt to find the best care products for our acrylic display cases, I spent some time a while back at my local acrylic supply house looking at and trying the products they recommend for taking care of acrylic cases.

As I think we've all learned, you can polish out fine scratches with Novus #2 fine scratch remover.

I bought a bottle of this and sure enough, it works like magic. Just use a soft cotton cloth and a dab of the cleaner and with very little work, even a pretty tough scratch comes out. Very light ones disappear easily. If you have any scratches at all, this is the stuff you need.

Next up, I asked for a spray cleaner that would solve the problems created by using regular glass cleaner, such as it being almost impossible to get it off perfectly and the fact it leaves the acrylic attracting dust.

They said Brillianize is exactly what I needed. And boy are they right. It is amazing how easily it cleans the tops and how much better they look using it. Also, since it isn't static charged, dust isn't attracted to it and dusts off very easily.
